Grange Park Cold Callers

Should Grange Park be made a Cold-Caller free zone ?

Why do the residents of Grange Park have to be continually pestered by miscellaneous charities, power companies, art traders, fish dealers, people on sponsored walks that allegedly live round the corner and unemployed people selling dusters, to name but a few ?

Why can’t Grange Park become a cold-caller free zone?

It protects vulnerable people that live on their own, the old, those that may not fully understand what they are signing and those that feel intimidated by the sometimes slightly agressive sales pitches. I really don’t want to hear relentless talk on the doorstep saying that, “You know Angela and Bert at number 22 have bought some, so why don’t you ?” I would rather not know that Angela and Bert may have been hoodwinked by some people with a plastic badge that they could have downloaded from the internet, to be honest.

Here’s what the one show said about Cold-Caller Free zones – and they do work.
